The Challenge
Our milk company client was looking after regular pickups, which meant multiple trucks out and about day and night. Managing schedules manually wasn’t ideal. They were forever changing, which required daily work – an exhaustive, labour-intensive process.
The Cadence Solution
With a newly engineered Cadence system, they’re able to access historic and current data. Now they can track the size of the truck, so each vehicle can be filled to capacity. While they still enter data, it’s real-time information based on the actual pickups each truck makes, ensuring that every report is up to date, and forecasting is always current.
We also built an automated data-integration system that automatically imports the number of milk litres from each day into the system. So our client can build the most expedient routes in real-time, improving accuracy and productivity. That’s when things really started moo-ving.
